Plan now to attend the 7×24 Carolinas chapter winter meeting, March 4–5, 2015, in the Raleigh-Durham area of North Carolina. The event kicks off with a networking gathering on the evening of the 4^th. The main meeting the next day will open with chapter business and news following breakfast, then offer five speakers in an educational forum who will discuss topics on emerging technology, industry trends, and more. Attendees will be eligible to receive professional development hours and continuing education unit credits. The conference is also an opportunity to catch up on the progress the National Consortium for Mission Critical Operations is making in developing curriculum and establishing industry certifications to promote the mission critical field through programs developed by North Carolina’s community and technical colleges. There will be a tour of a local mission critical facility. And, of course, there will be ample opportunity to meet with colleagues and catch up on the things that matter most to folks in the Carolinas in this field.
