The joint meeting of the Atlanta and Carolina's Chapter of 7x24 Exchange has become one of our favorite events.  The recent conference in Charleston, SC was no exception.

The networking event held at the Bay Street Biergarten and sponsored by Starr Electric was well attended and provided a great opportunity to catch up with colleagues before the Friday Session began.

Friday breakfast sponsored by Exact Technology was a welcome start to the Friday activities which included an interesting program provided by Jack Uldrich who spoke on Future Trends that will affect us personally and professionally in the coming years.

Paul Marcoux gave an excellent review along with Jonathan Davis from Cleveland Community College of the progress of our Mission Critical Operator curriculum development and grant.  This worthwhile initiative will soon be providing students with extraordinary training with degree to support Mission Critical Operations in the Carolinas.

The capstone of the event was an excellently moderated panel discussion on Evaluating KPI's to Ensure Success in Your Data Center.  Attendee feedback on this panel was very positive and we look forward to more programs like this moving forward.

On behalf of the attendees, I would like to thank our Event Sponsor, Whiting Turner for their continuing support of our chapter and events such as these.

Thanks also to the attendees.  I noticed positive exchange and discussion as a result of our program's activities.  It is hard to take time out to attend such events. The participation of our end user membership really provides great value to the entire organization and creates the environment for such activities to occur.

Up coming events include the National 7x24 meeting in Pheonix AZ and our Winter Meeting in February.  I am looking forward to attending them both.
